The Pastoral Care Team
- Do you have some spare time during each month? If so, perhaps you would consider joining the Team at their various activities held at the local nursing homes. These include church services, community singing and woodwork.
The pleasure residents gain from our visits is much enjoyed and appreciated by them and also by the staff. What we gain as a team is truly uplifting and a pleasurable experience.

Reaching Out Into The Community
- We aim to communicate Christ’s love by our work in aged care facilities within our parish.
Our team of 50 plus members work within five aged care facilities seeking to enhance the care and support to the residents, family/loved ones and staff.
We are involved in providing socialisation and stimulation to the residents via community singing, woodwork, craft, games sessions and non-denominational church services.
We assist with feeding dependent patients in one facility and work in the palliative care ward of another aged care facility supporting residents and their loved ones.
Our team has been trained in Grief and Loss support and can provide palliative care support for residents and loved ones in the last difficult days. We have run Grief and Loss seminars in three facilities over the last few years.
